Thanks for sharing this! Windy Point House is indeed a special spot on the Beara Peninsulatheres really nothing quite like that 'end of the world' feeling you get when youre out that way. Its a shame that Paddy is no longer there, as he was such a local icon with the cable car, but its great to hear that the memories of the hospitality remain so strong. It really is one of the most rugged and beautiful parts of Ireland. Definitely worth a return trip if you get the chance!
