Although they did a 'Soft Launch' in Dublin a while ago, I can't say how pervasive they are elsewhere in the country. There are rate pages for Cork and Galway . . .
Trying a cost estimate from the Cork Kent Train Station to MacCurtain Street http://www.uber-fare-estimator.com/route/3f8s gave me THIS result:
" Oops, Uber is not available for the requested route, but it looks fun though! Please try to make a new Uber Estimate again here. " which leads me to believe that service is either spotty or unavailable.
