i would like to take a small guided tour for the Dingle Penensula.at leastto hit the high spots and we can explore later on our own. Same thing in Balleyvaughn. I'm interested in the ruins, wildflowers and history. Do i need to book them now since August is so crazy', would you recommend a day tour and who would you reccomend?
I'm more of a 'Do-It-Yourself-er' but, if you wanted a guided tour, it would depend upon where you are based.
For Dingle (based in Killarney) Deros Tours, Paddywagon and O'Connors offer day tours of Dingle. http://derostours.com/new/all-tours/dingle-peninsula-slea-head-coach-tour/ http://www.paddywagontours.com/DINGLE-Day-Tour-from-Killarney http://www.oconnorautotours.ie/tour_dingle_daytour.html
My personal recommendation would be Deros.
From Dingle, you could try http://www.dinglesleaheadtours.com/ or http://www.dingle-peninsula.ie/attractions-on-the-dingle-peninsula-co-kerry/outdoor-attractions/guided-tours/item/sciuird-archaeology-tours.html
You could also check for other options here: http://www.dingle-peninsula.ie/attractions-on-the-dingle-peninsula-co-kerry/outdoor-attractions/guided-tours.html
For Ballyvaughan, try: http://www.discoverballyvaughan.com/2012/04/burren-wild-tours/ or http://www.discoverballyvaughan.com/category/activities/
There are also Tour options based in Galway.
