hI, we are going to be heading there from Westmeath and on up to the marble arch caves in Northern Ireland, our res fell through at st Karan's in Virginia, is there another place you might recommend in Virginia?
I've heard good things about http://skellysbandb.com/ It's in the center of town, over the Centra Shop and breakfast is served downstairs in the Deli, so it's a bit quirky. Still, it gets excellent reviews for cleanliness and the helpfulness of the staff.
Michele has a 'Quick Pick' in her book for Lake Avenue House B&B and Self-Catering in Ballyconnell, County Cavan: http://lakeavenuehouse.com/ but, that's quite a bit further than Virginia. She has a GREAT recommendation outside of Enniskillen (two, actually!), but the closest to Virginia is: http://www.abocurragh.com/cms/
My wife says they serve the BEST porridge ANYWHERE!
