Well, I think I've got our plans finalized for our upcoming trip in August. I've eliminated some stops and activities which seems to make more sense. I originally had us moving almost every night and leaving very little time for exploring or spontaneous fun. Would appreciate any suggestions or comments on what we have planned.
Will arrive in Galway on Sunday evening. Spending Monday with relatives in Claremorris (County Mayo) and returning to Galway Monday night. On Tuesday we'll head south toward Killarney via the Cliffs of Moher. Two nights in KIllarney with Wednesday spent on the Gap of Dunloe tour. Thursday we'll venture on toward Blarney and spend the night (touristy, I know) and on Friday head back north to Glin for a stay at the castle. Sadly, our reservations on Saturday are at the Shannon Airport.
Thanks to everyone on this forum for all the helpful information. I'm also looking forward to Michele's new book as I still have a LOT to learn!
That sounds much better. I think you will enjoy your time more by covering less territory. My book will be mailed out next week. It is due back from the printers either Friday or Monday (I'm hoping for Friday).
