Car Rental

Looking for a recommendation and advice for a car rental. Staying in Central Dublin the first couple of days, so thinking of picking the car up the morning of the third day.

Thanks

Possibly Dooley either via their toll free number or Fox and Conn's Ireland who sort cars from Hertz without the pain. You don't need the hassle of a car in Dublin.

If you anticipate / plan for Full-Coverage (Insurance), it's a toss-up.  If you plan to 'Waive' the Insurances using an Approved Credit Card, then Dooley or Fox (a Dooley Agent) are the likely choices.
