Adare to Bunratty

We are heading to Ireland the week of September 3-10, using Adare Villas as our home base.  On Tuesday the 5th we have tickets for Bunratty and the Irish Night so looking for something to do before we go to Bunratty, planning to arrive there after lunch sometime to look around and stay for the show.  Was thinking of heading to the Burren, have lunch then head to Bunratty.  Is there something else we should do instead?  Is that trying to do too much in one day?  Good suggestions for lunch places?  Thanks!

Welcome to the forum. You have too much planned for that day. Instead of the Burren, think of doing something in the morning closer to Adare. You could go to the Foynes Flying Boat Museum or you could choose to go into Limerick and visit King John's Castle or the Hunt Museum.  Each of them has a nice cafe and Foynes is where Irish coffee was invented.
