Parking a caravan or a Campervan. Thanks

Hi.

My name is Hodel

I am a nature lover and thinking of buying a caravan in order to travel and take my time painting in nature. I wish to drive in Ireland+paint+work using my computer from the unit wherever i am. Sometimes for my work i need to go in and out few times in built areas (not main city streets)  and park there for 3-5 hours. so i search and ask if i can do it?  :

1- Park at the side of the street.

2- Camp in nature freely (Not just in camp sites for Camper-vans).

3- Do i need to do anything in order to park/camp (something like "A yearly ticket for camping in Ireland or a county"), or register anywhere?

4- If i can do 1-3 with a towed caravan and/or Camper-van.

?? Thanks a million

Hope you find some insight for your plan.

Already given you www.motorhomecraic.com/forum/ and safenights Ireland elsewhere so nothing to add to Michele above. If you can give some ideas of where you would like to spend some time I might be able to give other advice.
