Blasket Island Self-Catering

It may be that I've been living under a rock, but I JUST now discovered this:

It might be a bit 'Primitive' for the average visitor, though -- NO electricity, WiFi -- and, sometimes -- only cold showers!   hmm  hmm

Still -- It's nice to have options!  biggrin

They even offer Breakfasts!

And the abuse I got from certain TA regulars last year when I said that the only reason for restoring those houses was a commercial venture.

I did self catering on the baskets in the early 80's. In a tent because the seas were too rough to get off the island. (something worth considering?)

I think I will skip the cold showers! But good to know there are now more options on the island.
