One more day!

We leave tomorrow night for Dublin!!! Bags are packed, house caretaker is all set, mails on hold and we couldn't be more excited! Even if we don't do half of what's on our itinerary we will still be in heaven! I'll be sure to post a trip report when we get back in a few weeks. biggrinbleh

Bon voyage! Have a wonderful time. Take lots of photos and perhaps you can share some in my Facebook group Postcards From Ireland.

Excellent! Enjoy. I leave for Dublin in a week. Save some beer for me.

Last thing, did you call the credit card company to let them know you'll be in Ireland.

Enjoy  and safe travels!  We visited Ireland this time of year a bit ago, tons of lambs to be seen.  Got lucky and at Muckross Farms there was a donkey that was born the day before.  The pic of her/him standing with mom in their stall was the March calendar picture for the next year...'and the wee donkey baby shall be one' being the caption.

Hi from Ireland! We have a week and 2 days left here. Tomorrow we are heading to Killarney area from Kilkenny. Can anyone recommend a good place to get a wool sweater?

Glad you are enjoying yourself!  biggrin

There are a number of excellent shops on -- or just off -- High Street, in Killarney.

Depending on your route, the Blarney Woolens Mill store in Blarney has an extensive offering, as well.

Thanks Bob, we are walking around Killarney now. Just stopped into The Danny Mann Lounge for a pint, yum! We picked some up at the Aran woolen sweater outlet. I didn't have great internet to check back before lol.
