Wicklow Suggestions

Hi all, we are still doing last minute juggling for our trip next week to Ireland. We've never been to Wicklow and are thinking of staying there the last night before heading to Dublin the next morning. We'd appreciate suggestions for B&Bs, pubs with trad music, and the top place to spend an afternoon while there...Powerscourt? Or...?

Is there a better place to stay near Powerscourt than Wicklow? We want to stay rural if we can and not go into Dublin proper. A beautiful place to spend our last afternoon together that is close to Dublin--preferably south of Dublin...since we will be north of it earlier in the trip

I've enjoyed stays in Glendalough and Bray, on a couple of trips.

http://www.glendalough.eu.com/  is one option, but it might be a bit too far out.

In Bray, I've enjoyed stays at:  http://www.irishtourist.com/details/old-rectory.shtml  and  http://www.esplanadehotel.ie/

Very close to Powerscourt, Michele has a pick in Enniskerry:   http://www.ferndalehouse.com/

Not too far away is:  https://www.johnniefoxs.com/

Last trip I used my Marriott points to stay at the Powerscourt Hotel. It was wonderful. In Glendalough try Riversdale House.

If you have time, stop in to Mount Usher Gardens. Just there 2 days ago, it truly is a magical place.
Glendalough is also amazing anytime.

I stayed outside Delgany at the Glenview Hotel. It was a bit too fancy for me, but about 45 minutes to the airport. Bray has a lot more options, but then you are out of the mountain/hill area.
