places to stay in Doolin.

Hi, Michele.  My wife and I relied greatly on your book a decade ago when we visited Ireland.  Now we are returning next year.  My kids, spouses and grandkids will travel on their own and then meet up with my wife and I in Doolin for the Cliffs and other great things.  Any recommendations for places to stay there?  We've done a bit of research on our own.  Dromoland Castle came up, so my son-in-law is checking that.  I checked out Ramblers Rest B&B, and that seems very nice.  Any comments on either one of these would be helpful.  Others you can recommend for a party of ten (four children, six adults) next July?  Also, do we have time to book or do we have to book now?  Thanks very much.

Welcome Back!  biggrin  biggrin
Michele's Doolin picks are Cullinan's (8 rooms) and O'Connors Guesthouse (10 rooms):

Dromoland might be a choice if price isn't a consideration . . . confuse   confuse   confuse

Needing that many rooms, I would definitely book as early as possible!

Glad to hear you are returning to Ireland again. Once you know your dates it would be good to make reservations.

Besides Cullinans and O connors, Hotel Doolin is good also. Cullinans has a wonderful restaurant in addition to being a guesthouse.
