I am confused (not unusual). When I go to the car rental sites, they quote # of people and # of bags. I'm thinking this has to be bags per person, but it's not really clear. Can someone ease my mind? I need something for four women and their luggage plus shopping bags and nothing is fitting. __________________ Slán go fóill, Judy

the picture are for total number of people AND total number of bags... all i can say is pack light!!! seriously though, you can cram a couple of more bags than they show in their diagrams. for example, we were able to fit 3 large suitcases and our carry on in the trunk of a midsize 4 door. we had 7 people in 2 cars (ford escorts) with all their luggage for a week just fine. __________________

Dude, Kathy is right. The charts show the maximum number of people and baggage. You can also call the various companies to talk with them about what sort of car might fit.
