I hope someone can help. Has anyone experienced the Shannon Shamrock Hotel near Bunratty Castle? I am getting some bad reviews and am nervous now as I have booked this place for one night. Thanks

I would not recommend staying at the Bunratty Shannon Shamrock. It is in need of some room refirbishment. Also, it can be noisy if there are groups, conventions or on weekends. They have an excellent restaurant that I frequent but there are better places to stay in the area. Let me know if you would like a recommendation.

I saw too many bad reviews on this hotel so I canceled our reservation and booked Glengrove B&B in Ballyneety near Limerick, hopefully this one is better.
