Walking holiday luggage

Hi,

I'm planning a walking holiday this summer, either in the Ring of Kerry area or in the Dingle Peninsula but I'll be exhausted carrying a heavy rucksack the whole time!

I know lots of walking tour companies provide luggage transfer services if you book your accommodation through them, but I want to book my own. Does anyone know any firms that will do luggage transfer only, without needing to organise your whole break through them? (I know of a couple of companies in England that do this.)

I'd be really grateful for your advice - thanks,
Aimi

aimi,

Sorry, I don't know of any luggage transport service like that. They may exist but will require more searching. I suggest that when you know which area you will be hiking in, you contact the local tourist office there for more info. They will be best able to help with your request. I suppose, as a backup, you could always hire a taxi to transport your luggage between B&Bs. Let me know if I can help in any other way.
