how long to stay at certain towns or areas of Ireland

Michele, I wanted to ask your opion on how long to stay at certain towns or areas of Ireland when I visit next year. I will be there 14 or 16 days (depends on work) and will have a car. I want to vistit Dingle, Kenmare, Cashel, Dublin, and the Connemara area. I am open to other places to visit but I was trying to just stay in the south part of Ireland. In the Connemara area what town would you suggest to stay in?

You could easily spend a couple of days in each place. But it depends on what you want to see and do in each area. Once you have an idea of your itinerary feel free to post it so we can all tell you our "two cents" worth about it.


In Connemara I like both Clifden and Roundstone. Roundstone is very small so it depends on what sort of an experience you are looking for as to which one you will choose.
