I just went online today to check the rates on my car reservation and find out they had gone done by 70.00 dollars. I was paying 641.13 all inclusive and I am know paying 575.09 for the same car. I hope this helps people out. I got it from Auto Europe and it is automatic.
Auto Europe is good about adjusting the rental fee. I was quite happy using them. They were very effiecient when I picked up the vehicle and when I turned it in at the end of my trip. I used them Scotland and in Ireland. I will be interested in hearing about your experience with them.
I'm glad to hear you are getting a break on the car. That is more money you can spend in Ireland! FYI, AutoEurope is a sister company of Kemwel, which is the one I use. Their rates are usually the same or very close.
Bit, It is always good to hear about a company that treats people well. We need more like that.
You might call their 800 number and inquire there. However, I have rented from the both times and found the coverage in their all inclusive package to be more than adequate. It is still worth a phone call to cover all bases.

The brokers (AutoEurope and Kemwel) do not provide the Super CDW. That you must buy from the car rental company on arrival in Ireland. I suggest you call the toll-free number for either AutoEurope or Kemwel (listed on their sites) and inquire as to the cost of the Super CDW at the recommended car rental company.
You must count the cost and see whether it is worth it to you to purchase it. Depends on how much the deductable is with the regular CDW probably. If you cannot afford a $1,000 deductable (or more) the Super CDW may be the way to go.
There are still a few credit cards that cover CDW but they are getting few and far between.
