For now, just the bare facts - Wonderful weather - only one day of rain lasting more than an hour. Highs of 66 to 68 compared to overnight lows of 76 back home in Louisiana and daytime highs in the mid-to-upper 90s.
Wonderful people. Three of our four B & B host families spent more than an hour visiting with us. Definitely hope to revisit two of them on our future trip.
Only one-half day of coach tour - Barratt Tours Cliffs of Moher/Burren experience - Fantastic. Makes me wish we had had the time for two more days of guided tour. The view from the bus was fantastic - especially for me as the driver in our Ford Focus, where I didn't get to see much scenery while driving.
Had some wonderful seafood chowder and Irish Beef and Guinness stew at O'connors Pub at Doolin, near the Cliffs.
Giant's Causeway - What to compare it to. Lots and lots of photos of cliffs and basalt columns. How many American tourists to Ireland have never visited there. Even more impressive than the Cliffs of Moher.
We missed the Slieve League due to the overcast day that wouldn't quit when we where in Donegal.
More later.

Welcome back from your trip. We would love to hear more detail if you have the chance. Glad you enjoyed the Giant's Causeway. It is truly unique. Although many tourists think it is much smaller than they expect. Perhaps they are expecting the Grand Canyon of the north?
