Our Adventures-Part III Driving through Tipperary to the Rock of Cashel, which we all explore. Even the rain doesn't stop us from spending a long time in the cemetery, inspecting the stones. On to Kilkenny with lunch at Paris Texas. Seems everyone in Kilkenny eats here on Sunday afternoon. Patrick's daughter Helena makes a surprise visit and spirits her father off to lunch. They're missing him the second week he's been away! Then to Kilkenny Castle of which Patrick is justly proud. Pat and I discover a lovely gift shop across the way in the old stables. Our B&B tonight is Dunromin, run by a very outgoing couple, Val and Tom. Val calls Kytler's to be sure the band is playing tonight and Paul Keogh (manager, itinerary maker & B&B reserver from M&A Coaches) calls in to say he'll meet us at the pub. The musicians never showed-they were at a soccer match that afternoon-but we have a great time with Paul, who seems delighted to meet us and know that we're having a grand old time! Val is devastated that the band didn't show, so next morning after breakfast Tom gets out his accordion and bowran (sp?) and we have a sing-a-long. Not quite the same as the pub, but fun. We're now invited for lunch at Patrick's house as I want to go to Nicholas Mosse. Now I have my tea set to bring back memories. Then on to Castlecomber, a stop at Helena's shop (which was once Patrick's hardware store) and a delightful visit with Helen and their rough collie, Prince, who has obviously missed Patrick as well! Lunch at the Hennessy's is really dinner-chicken, ham, home-made coleslaw, salad, colcannon etc. I'm sure Patrick would be content to end our tour right there but we won't give him up to his family quite yet! Only three more days left, sad to say. We're off to Enniskerry via the Wicklow Mountains.

Re: Our Adventures-Part III Wow - we seemed to be going to all the same places - Paris Texas, the shops at the Kilkenny Design center, Nicholas Mosse, Enniskerry ---
