I'm hoping to find more Bunny Lanes on my next trip. Maybe they are only meant to be seen once. Familiarity with them might spoil the magic.

OH, Michele, what a gorgeous photo of that castle...it looks like a fairy-tale! At least, I think it's a castle...maybe not. I can't wait to read your trip report! Time for bed at the moment. aww

That "castle" is Blarney House. Believe it or not, that is the very first time I've ever visited it. It has always been closed on all my other visits. Well worth a tour, if open.

They only opened the house for tours last year, haven't been in myself but intend to spend the extra 5 euro each next time we head down that way.

The grounds were beautiful in the spring. Everything was blooming. I only wish I could have taken photos inside Blarney House, but like lots of places like that it is not allowed. I had to satisfy the "photo bug" by taking pics outside instead. The house is lived-in and although historic is not as "museum-like" as a lot of other places. I could have moved right in. No invite yet!
