Hello everyone. I have just come back from my winter trip by bus in Ireland. It was a wonderful trip and everything went just fine.

This report will be short but I hope useful to others planning their own trips...(related to this topic http://ireland.activeboard.com/t58454558/winter-trip-by-bus/ ) 

About the itinerary (from January 23rd to February 3rd)

Some things we had planned to see we couldn´t because of the weather (Ring of Kerry) or because it was much more far away than we had thought (Knock). The weather was sunny enough to take beautiful pictures of most of the places we visited.

 About the B&B and hotels

In Galway  we stayed in Amber Lodge B&B. It was a bit disappointing. Really small room and the owner was a bit distant. If I come back to Galway I would stay somewhere else.

In Killarney we stayed at Killarney Self-Catering Haven Suits. Excellent choice!!!. It was cheap and awesome. It's very well located and have anything you need to have a nice stay.

I'd recommend this place to anyone staying in Killarney.

In Cork we stayed at Aban Appartments. It is located about 10 minutes walk from the English Market and opposite to University College. Very good choice.

In Dublin we stayed at StayCity Service Apparments Millenium Walk). It's located opposite to JERVIS. It's 3 minutes walk to Ha'Penny bridge and 5 more to Temple Bar. It was very comfortable place and the staff were very helpful.

About the bus 

We did all our tour by bus taking always Bus Éireann buses and really enjoyed the experience. They were punctual and comfortable and also had free wi-fi. The only train we took was to get to Cobh. And it was wonderful too. So, if you don't want to drive taking the bus is an option. And also can get some great offers like Expressway (8 euros from Cork to Dublin)

About the trip...

As Michelle (and others) always says 'You can´t see everything in one trip, you have to chose'. This, unfortunately, is an awful truth. You are always short of time. But we had a wonderful time in Ireland. Cork was the city we enjoyed most.

About the People of Ireland

Last but not least it was really a pleasure to meet people that were always kind, helpful and ready to do anything to make you feel at home. We had a wonderful trip mainly for the people of Ireland. These were the exact words I used in my previous report but they continue to be true for this one.
